For optimum performance, it has constant speed control which automatically applies additional power under load. Convenience features include a rubberized soft grip that provides increased comfort on the job, a top handle above the pad that allows the user to apply varying amounts of pressure depending on the application and a rubberized over molding on the tool and battery position which is designed to help protect delicate surfaces from potential damage. The Polisher includes a soft start feature which suppresses the start-up reaction for smoother start-ups and longer gear life.
