The machined mating surfaces between body and frog provide a rock solid foundation for the blade.The accurately machined grey cast iron body has precisely ground sides and sole. The Lever Cap is a polished grey iron casting. The blade is cryogenically treated 3mm thick O1 steel; hardened and tempered to 60-62 HRC and precision ground.
The Cap Iron is a single piece design offering rigid clamping. The handle and tote are carefully shaped Walnut. Other parts are either stainless steel or solid cast brass.
